NECHA All-Star Game

  

The 2012-13 NECHA All-Star Game




This year's NECHA All-Star game will graciously be hosted by St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. The event will include a skills competition and a full length game. Read on for more details.

 This year's NECHA All-Star game will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 and will graciously be hosted by St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. 

 

When: On the ice at 12pm on Sunday, March 10, 2013.


Where: Sullivan Arena, St. Anselm College, Manchester, NH.

 

This All-Star event will offer both a skills competition and a regulation game. The intent of this event is to provide the selected NECHA players a chance to show their skills in a fun environment, and to compete in one more game to claim the annual bragging rights.  

 

The skills contest will be held prior to the start of the NECHA All-Star game and will include Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot, Most Accurate Shooter, & One-on-One Breakaway contests.

 

The All-Star game will be a single 60 minute regulation game played between the two NECHA All-star teams. The two teams will be made up of representatives from each of the NECHA member teams.  


NECHA White will be comprised of Colonial North, Patriot West, & American North team representatives.


NECHA Dark will be comprised of representatives from the Colonial South, Patriot East, & American South teams.


Each NECHA member team is encouraged to submit for appointment the name of two players from their team, and to nominate one goalie from their specific division to be invited to attend this event.  


NECHA players appointed to this event are encouraged to sign up for one of the skills events. Awards will be presented to the winners of each contest.


Submission Process: Please have the head coach from your team email the names and positions of their two shooter appointments, the skills competition choice for each shooter, and their one goalie nominee from their division to the following addresses by Sunday March 2, 2013.
