NorthEast Collegiate Hockey Association

Welcome to the 2010 - 2011 NECHA season. Established in the spring of 1982, NECHA celebrates it's twenty-nineth season of competition.

NECHA is a northeastern U.S. regional intercollegiate ice hockey league. All NECHA members are Division II affiliates of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The ACHA is the largest governing body of National intercollegiate ice hockey in the United States.

Our hockey programs are financially supported through their institutions' athletic departments and/or student senate body, as well as through other fund raising efforts.

Member teams are required to play a full regular season schedule, are eligible for NECHA regular season championships & NECHA playoffs.

Probationary members are teams that have applied for full NECHA membership. Probationary members are required to play a full regular season schedule but are not eligible for NECHA regular season championship or NECHA playoffs.

Associate members are teams recognized by NECHA, but are not mandated to play a full league schedule, and are not eligible for league championships and playoffs.

NECHA is a non-profit organization incorporated
in the State of New Hampshire.
