AHL SHOWCASES TWO NECHA TEAMS
NECHA's UMass-Amherst Minutemen will host the Boston College Eagles at a promotional event prior to the scheduled AHL game between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Springfield Falcons game at the MassMutual Center in Springfield MA on Sunday, January 23, 2011.
As part of a promotional event, the AHL's Springfield Falcons have invited two of NECHA's premier teams, Boston College Eagles vs. University of Massachusetts-Amherst Minutemen, to compete against eachother prior to their scheduled AHL event against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The NECHA teams will drop the puck at noon and the AHL game will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. The $15 admission provides attendance to the doubleheader event.
