ACHA's Division 2 Ranking #2 Released: Boston College Ranked 3rd in Northeast!

The Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association has again placed 7 teams in the top 15 spots in the Northeast Region of ACHA's Division 2. Boston College has been awarded the 3rd place ranking. Read on to review the entire 2nd ranking of 2009-10 for all of ACHA's Division 2.

The University of Massachusetts has moved to the 8th spot, while the University of Connecticut is right in front of them in the 7th position.

To Remain eligible and stay in "good standing" teams must comply with ACHA Policies including dues, Registration, web updates as mandated


M2 Rankings

 Commissioners Note Regarding Ranking Committee Members:
All ranking committee positions are voluntary.  
Requests to join the ranking committees are accepted at the beginning of the year.  
There are checks and balances within the committees as well as those who oversee it's structure.  
When openings occur,  posting is made and filled as quickly as possible.
The Commissioner & VP do not vote.  
We pass this info on in hopes of getting more people involved, and to further help in understanding ACHA policies.  
Teams must remain compliant in score reporting and web reporting to the ACHA site, and 
be Policy compliant to be Ranking & National Tournament eligible.

Following the Seasons Final Ranking (#5)  the Top 2 Teams in each Region will receive a berth** 
to the National Tournament as the Top 2 seeds.  Teams 3 thru 10 will participate at Regional Playoffs to receive the last 2 Regional berths as outlined in ACHA Manual.
